My new friend

A poem about my new friend..

Some may say you're cold and unfeeling,
to me you were just what I needed.

Some may say that you're unable
to give comfort,
to me, you were just what I needed.

Oh there are days you sparkle and shine,
smell fresh and clean.
There are other days when you smell a little
and your shine is gone,
but, you're just what I needed.

Thank you for being there for me last night
when I needed you most.
You kept me cool when I was hot,
You accepted my offerings not with grief
and disgust but with total acceptance.

I bow down to thee oh precious friend
