This is our little fella now at 6 weeks and 11 pounds. We're contemplating a name change but still really like Rio. The only problem is we have Cleo and don't want people thinking we named the same just because.

Titus (although for some reason I think tight ass when I say it, lol)

yes i have to agree with tash i will always know him as rio but i do like gibson or kuma too.

Kodiak?
That's what Kuma means in Japanese and I really like the sound of it too. However, regardless of what some others have said I think we'll keep it Rio as we know we didn't do it so our dogs would have rhyming names.
Plus we have to see what his personality is like.
I like Rio. Although he does look like a little bear. Instead of Kodiak you could say Koda. I also love Gunner. You could go with Eugene too! Or Hubert, or George, or Motzart or ?????
i like gunnar. not too many of those around so if you lose him at the park and call his name you won't have a pack showing up. ;)
if you are going for "strong" names, may i suggest keith? it means warrior.
but that's totally another story for another day. lol
